Jackie is a gorgeous black‑and‑white girl with a sleek, athletic build and a bright, clever mind. She’s a fantastic mouser, a graceful jumper, and a gentle soul with the tiniest, sweetest meow. Jackie loves rolling onto her back for tummy rubs and purrs quickly when she’s with someone she trusts, offering soft nuzzles before trotting off to her next adventure. She greets her people with quick bursts of affection and is wonderfully loving without being clingy. Kind to other cats but perfectly content on her own, Jackie is fixed, vaccinated, and ready to charm her way into a forever home. Born Sept. 2025

Weatherford Whiskers's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters are invited to come in and see the cats during open office hours. Browse the rooms and see what we have and what you think will fit you and your family. Adoption forms are online. Once filled out and sent in they are then reviewed by a committee. If approved, then the entire family is asked to come see the cat(s) that they are wanting to adopt so that the staff can observe that the entire family is committed to this adoption. Then formal paperwork is signed and the process is complete. Can take up to 2 weeks for this process to occur.

Weatherford Whiskers is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue group. Our cage free facility has 5 rooms of free roaming cats with access to a catio for safe outdoor enrichment in 3 of the rooms. We rescue high risk cats and kittens from our local shelters.
