Jackie's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com
Jackie came from a small colony near Princeton. The lady that fed them went to a nursing home. Right after our volunteer trapped them all, they demolished the old house. Jackie is a special needs girl. She only has one eye, and she is mostly blind in that eye. She can see shadows, we think. She was semiferal when we got her. She is still really shy, but she also loves being petted and head scratched. She is very playful, so she would do well with another sweet young playful cat (no bullies) or a sweet gentle dog. She needs lots of toys to play with, and even though she can’t see, she definitely needs a cat tree or 2 to climb. She needs a human that is very patient with her to give her time to acclimate to her new home and to always be diligent and very aware of making sure all doors to outside remain closed

Please contact NTCR AT 214-454-9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com.
