Jackal's Story
Meet Jackal, we call him Jack. Jack was found outside the Choctaw Stadium in Arlington during a Dallas Jackals Rugby game. He came right up to one of our fosters and said helloooooooo, take me home! So alas, he was snatched up and taken home. After some time acclimating and decompressing, Jack's true colors arose.

Jack is a very high activity, very playful, loving, lap kitty, guesstimated to be about a year and a half old, but acts like a kitten. He is rambunctious and outgoing. He is a lick, lick, chomp kinda kitty. He loves attention and loves to kiss your face. He does need to learn his nibbling boundaries and would do better in a home without small children.

We attempted to introduce Jack to dogs of which he would nothing of the part, so we cannot say for sure if it would or would not work out but perhaps the best choice is a home without dogs, even if they ignore him, because he will not ignore them.

He gets along with other kitties, but he does want to be the boss. This may pass in time as his hormones settle down after his neutering, but it is not a guarantee. Younger equally rambunctious kitties would probably be a good fit for Jack.

He does not talk much except when he is playing. He is a 'zoomies' kinda cat. He loves toys and loves to snuggle and be held. You can actually walk around the house with Jack in your arms.

If you are looking for a roommate that happens to have fur and claws, and one that wants to snuggle and love on you, this is the perfect roommate. You will never be lonely again.

Jack is located in a foster home in Celina, Texas. No outside state adoptions. You can meet him in person with a completed application for adoption, as it is best to meet cats where they reside for less stress, and to see how they really are.

$80 for adoption. neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, combo test negative for felv or fiv. healthy as a horse.

muttsandmayhem.org
