Jack Sparrow was lucky enough to cross paths with a kind-hearted woman who welcomed him into her garage and made sure he had regular meals. One day, she noticed he was limping, so she gently contained him and reached out to our rescue for help. Jack Sparrow has only one functioning eye, which is how he earned his fitting pirate name. When he arrived in our care, our vet treated his leg wound, and while his other eye isn't functional, it isn't causing him any discomfort or issues at this time. Jack is a special boy who needs a patient, loving adopter willing to give him the time and gentle care he deserves to learn that life indoors can be safe and full of love. Jack has started to enjoy spending time snuggled up with his foster family as well as play time with string toys and toys that make lots of noise! He has become an energetic, zoomy boy! Arthur Animal Rescue Co-operative's Adoption Policy

Thank you for considering adopting through Arthur Animal Rescue! We are a small rescue comprised of caring foster homes throughout Center and North Wellington (Arthur, Mount Forest, Fergus, Elora and surrounding areas). If you see a cat or kitten on our site and would like to learn more about any of them please feel free to send us a message. If you would like to meet any of our adoptable pets in person, submit an adoption application and we can arrange a time for you to meet which is convenient to you and the foster home. In the event that multiple applications are received for a cat or kitten in our rescue, we will review each one and make the best decision based on fit for both the cat or kitten, and their forever family. The adoption fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery as well as first vaccinations. The cats and kittens are also dewormed and receive revolution treatment whenever necessary. We also provide info on preparing for a new feline family member to help with the transition to their new homes. And offer ongoing support or advice after the adoption has taken place!
