Jack Orange's Story

Jack Orange is a large cat who was born in our shelter to a Cat mom who was placed at the city kill shelter, where we pulled her out of. We pulled her out of there a day before Jack Orange was born, so he has never seen a bad day in his life. He has been with us for a while only because we hoped to adopt him along with his mom, named Dot, as they were pretty bonded for a long time. The time has come for Jack Orange to find his own home now where he will be loved by someone who will be committed to his well being, for life. His mom is a bit of a tricky cat that made the adoption as a duo impossible so far. Over the past few months she seems to have made other, new friends and they are no longer dependent on each other. In other words, adoption together is no longer necessary. We are excited to find the right person who will love this LARGE Love bug furever. He is a bit of a goof and we love that about him. He is friendly, litter box trained, always looking for attention, and the first one to meet us at the door.. also the first one who will run to you when you open the can of wet food. He might benefit from a bit of a controled food amounts that the shelter can't always provide, because he tries to eat everyones food once he is done with his. Jack Orange has been neutered, microchipped, Snap Tested negative and is an all around, healthy fabulous cat who now needs to find his forever home. Before he will go to his new home, as routine we will make sure his stool sample is clear as we want to make sure all our cats that leave our shelter start their lives with a clean bill of health. If this cat sounds like your dream cat, please fill out an application. We will responds as soon as we can. We keep our human traffic limited in our shelter due to time, and to limit stress for the animals. We will contact you once you fill out the application.

Please visit our website www.brooklynpawsfoundation.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
