Jack & Colette's Story
Hello! My name is Jack, and I’m here with my sister, Colette. We’re looking for a forever home where we can live together, be loved, and give lots of love in return—for the rest of our lives. We’ve been in a wonderful foster home for about 10 months now. TEN MONTHS? You might be thinking, “What’s wrong with those cats?” Well, we’re happy to report: absolutely nothing!

We’re both beautiful, calm, VERY clean, always use our litter box, love to play with toys, and we don’t scratch furniture (we stick to our scratching posts like the good kitties we are!).

When we were first rescued by Beltsville Community Cats at around 4½ months old, we hadn’t had much human interaction. We were scared and unsure. But our amazing foster family gave us time, patience, and love—and slowly, we realized that being indoors with toys, tasty food, and kind people is actually pretty great.

Let me tell you: Colette and I were worth the wait! I absolutely love lying next to my people and getting petted—you’ll hear my purr from across the room. Colette is still a bit more reserved than I am, but she enjoys affection too. She just needs a little extra time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll be your loyal cuddle buddy.

Even though we’re now adult cats, we’re still playful and fun—without the chaos of kittens! We’re also calmer, easier, and full of love to give. We’ve been spayed/neutered , microchipped, fully vaccinated and we’ve learned perfect inside manners.

Our foster family adores us but can’t keep any more furry family members. So now, all we need is YOU—someone to open your heart and your home so we can become part of your family.

We promise—we’re worth it!

If you are interested in adopting please visit the link below to fill out our adoption application via Shelterluv.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BCC/Cat

You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us.

BCC does not have a shelter or storefront. All of our kittens and cats are located in the homes of our volunteers until they are adopted.
