Jack's Story
Jack
Est. DOB 4/2024
Adoption fee: $225

Jack is a super sweet boy who melts right into your hands!

He was trapped during a TNR project where he was going to be released back outside but he started making biscuits in his trap so we knew he deserved a chance at an inside home!

Jack is gentle, affectionate, and very playful! He LOVES neck or cheek scratches and will roll right into your hands for more (it looks like he’s doing a somersault sometimes)! He will greet you at the door for love and will wait for you to reach your hand out as an invitation to approach for love. He is an affectionate cat who loves attention, but is generally not very cuddly. He’ll sleep at the end of your bed at night!

He loves the laser light and chasing balls or toys that make noise when thrown on the floor. He enjoys a fun game of chase with other cats and is respectful when they tell him off.

He’s a pretty easy-going, very sweet boy but can be jumpy at times. Because of this, we think Jack would do best in a home without young children. He LOVES other cats and would really enjoy a feline companion or two, he also does well with dogs.

Jack will need a little patience while he adjusts to a new home—he does not hide, but will need some time to bond with his new people. He is both food and toy motivated, so it won’t take long!

The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.

All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.

We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!
