Meet Jack

Jack is a 7 month old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped!

Meet Jack! Jack is a gorgeous boy who is finally ready to venture off into a loving, patient, and understanding forever home where he can continue to blossom into the lovable boy that he truly is. Jack came into the shelter as a very under socialized kitten who has since spent some time in a foster home while learning to love humans. He will take lots of time to adjust in his new home but the wait will most certainly be well worth it once he begins to show his sweet nature. Once comfortable with you, Jack is a sweet heart who loves pets and calm cuddles with his favorite people - and he will even reach out for you while purring when he wants to let you know he wants more pets. He is also quite the vocal boy at times and will 'chat' with you by letting out the cutest little meows and chirps. After he has acclimated to his surroundings, Jack is a typical older kitten with LOTS of energy and can be quite the goofball at times. He enjoys chasing around his toys, climbing and jumping up on his cat tree, and playing with his foster siblings. He quite often gets the zoomies and can be a very entertaining little fellow when the wand toys come out!

Jack is a very shy guy who is still working on being comfortable about people. While he has made huge strides in his foster home with his socialization skills, he does still startle very easily and isn't a fan of being picked up. So, he is looking for a cat savvy family who can help him continue to work on his people skills. He would prefer a home with older respectful children at least 10 years of age or older who won't chase or scare him and can respect his space when needed.

Jack currently lives in a foster home with several other cats and kittens who he heavily relies on for comfort and confidence so he is required to go to a home with another feline friend. He also has done ok with the smaller breed dog in his foster home so he should do ok with calm and respectful dogs in his new home too.
