Jack's Story

Jack is a sweet, laidback tabby who showed up looking for love and he has plenty to give. He's happiest as your only cat, soaking up attention, making biscuits, and relaxing beside you during quiet evenings. Jack enjoys cozy cat beds, cardboard boxes, wet food, and tasty treats.

He's FIV positive, but FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives. Jack is best suited for a mature, calm home where he can be the center of affection. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Jack is ready to curl up and make your life a little sweeter.

Safe Haven for Animals's Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process We have a clear and well-structured process in place to find the best possible homes for our animals in need. This process begins with you filling out our Adoption Request Form designed to collect important details and insights from potential adopters so we can match you with the best possible pet. Once complete, we move forward by setting up a visit for you to meet our cats in person. One of our Adoption Coordinators will provide a tour of our facility and introduce you to our available cats. Our adoption coordinators have extensive knowledge of every cat and can help answer questions about individual personalities, habits, and special needs. Should you decide to choose a specific cat during this meeting, we then schedule a home visit to deliver your new pet, ensure it’s a safe and suitable environment, and provide a care kit for the new pet. To support a smooth transition, we also make a follow-up call about a week later to see how everything is going to ensure both the adopter and the cat are settling in well together.
