Jachol's Story

Hi there, I'm Jachol, and if you're looking for a devoted, affectionate companion, I think we should meet. I'm a handsome grey and white gentleman, born approximately 7/21/2017 with a soft, medium length coat that I absolutely love having brushed (and trust me, I'll remind you if you forget). Brushing time is one of my favorite ways to bond, right alongside pets, snuggles, and making biscuits. I'm known for my loud purr and my even louder heart. I'm just a very sweet, loving guy. I'm the more outgoing half of my bonded pair with my best friend, Jinshi. I greet new people confidently with leg rubs and curiosity, and I'm always interested in what you're doing. I like to explore, keep an eye on the household, and then settle in for affection. When it's mealtime, I'll be right there "patiently" supervising to make sure everything happens on schedule. I do have a lot to say about food! I've been described over and over as incredibly sweet, and it's true, even the vet teams I've met have fallen for me. I enjoy attention, come out readily for pets, and am happiest when I'm near my people.
I do have some special medical needs. I have megacolon, which means I take lactulose twice a day and eat a gastrointestinal wet food diet to keep me feeling my best. I also have hip dysplasia, so I appreciate a home that understands I may need a little extra comfort and support. I'm a wonderful patient though; I handle care with grace and trust.
Most importantly, I must go home with Jinshi. We've been through a lot together, and we're happiest as a pair. If you're looking for a pair of gentle, affectionate, people-loving companions who will greet you at the door, keep you company, and fill your home with warmth and purrs, we just might be your perfect match. If so, please fill out an adoption application at www.wbcats.org/adopt.
