J.R.'s Story

Jolly Roger was found as an abandoned cat and turned over to rescue. The vet thinks he was born around March 2020. Jolly Roger likes playing with wand toys and watching wildlife at the window. He likes petting, brushing, and purrs contentedly after a while. He would do best having another cat for a buddy. With proper introductions, he gets along with most cats. Jolly Roger is friendly with trusted folks and shy/avoidant around strangers. He is affectionate on his own terms. He is quiet until meal time. Jolly Roger would be best with kids over age seven, and he hasn’t met dogs.

This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com

If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). Easier to do today than 1 -2 years later when you finally realize the need.

Follow us on Facebook: Cat Tales MN
