Ivy is a VERY tall and slender kitty. He has long legs and a long tail to match! He is super friendly and is a talker. He will tell you all about his day when you get home from work! He is such a sweet guy and enjoys being the only kitty in the home. He would do best as an indoor/outdoor kitty where he can play and explore to his hearts desire. Ivy will let you know when you do something he doesn't like and will randomly treat your arm or hand like a toy...he can be "finicky". Because of that, Ivy would not be good with kids but he would be a good mouser! Stone County Humane Society Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We approve adoptions over the phone by responding to a completed adoption application. Please go to our website schspets.org and complete an online application and someone will contact you. Our adoption fees are $150 for shelter dogs and $200 for Paws in Prison trained dogs, and $75 for cats. We take only cash or check no credit cards. We are open daily from 2 to 5 by appointment only (during the Pandemic). Volunteers are here Monday - Friday from 11 to 5 to answer the phone and help with adoptions.
