Ivy's Story

Ivy is one of a litter found in an abandoned house in rural Minnesota in summer 2024. The cat family enjoyed being together in their foster home, but socialized with humans in various degrees. Ivy was one of the more shy and we took her off the adoption appearances to work with her for a while. She could now be paired with Duffy, a brother from another mother - they've become fond of each other and are shown together in one of the photos.

Patience is a virtue for this girl who is looking for affection and to trust her surroundings. To get on her good side, offer canned food - she loves it! Duffy should help, too.

Ivy is up to date on vet/vaccinations, has been spayed, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, so ready to go. About dogs - with any animal introduction, patience and a long, careful process will be rewarded. She has gotten more used to the dog in her foster home.

Duffy is at the Chuck & Don's in Cottage Grove as well as being listed on Petfinder, if you are considering adopting two felines. Fill out a full application and a volunteer will contact you to discuss Ivy and/or Duffy, within 24 to 48 hours. Thank you!
