Ivy's Story
Available from the Antelope Valley to Santa Clarita!

Meet Ivy a beautiful tortoiseshell kitty in search of a loving and quiet home.

If you are interested in meeting Ivy, please include your phone number with your interest reply.

Ivy has had a tough year and we are in search of an adopter who will love her and give her stability.

Ivy was originally abandoned by her young adult owner bc she was moving.

A family friend offered to foster her. Ivy was overwhelmed by their young children, dogs, cats, additional family members moving in and foster cats and kittens. She then became aggressive with one of the resident cats and that cat was stressed out. Out of options, Ivy was taken to the shelter where she was quickly euth-listed.

At that time we pulled her and fostered her but soon found another foster with a calmer space for Ivy. She had a room to herself with a cat tree near a window and lots of sun puddles.

Ivy soon after trusted the teen foster and she was able to pick her up and pet her without incident. The foster mom was able to gain her trust and could pet her as well. They allowed her to free roam with other cats in the home. Everything was fine and their intent was to adopt Ivy and then Ivy was aggressive with one of their cats.

And so Ivy is back at our home. We pulled her from the Shelter.

Ivy will thrive as an only kitty, only pet. She is fine with kids so we are suggesting children over 5 who can respect her space.

She loves to play with toys independently like coils and mice. If she trusts you she will roll on her back and ask for belly rubs.

Ivy is available for meet n greets from Santa Clarita to the Antelope Valley.

We know she will do best with a person/family who will give her time to relax and get acclimated. We do offer a 30 day trial so that Ivy can settle in and be her best self.

She might also attend adoption events at Petco Bouquet Canyon.

If you are interested in Ivy, please include your phone number in your interest reply.

Thank you.
