Ivy's Story

Ivy and her brother Sammy were rescued at an RV park in Greenfield. Ivy is an independent girl, but she does enjoy getting petted. She's more timid around people than Sammy and spends most of her time playing with the other foster kittens she lives with, but also bird watching and napping. Ivy also prefers to approach people on her own terms rather than being picked up, so she would prefer a home with no young children. Our Neighborhood Pet Project's Adoption Policy

We require an adoption application. We contact the applicant for a phone interview and to schedule a meet and greet. After the meet and greet, we collect the adoption fee and pass the pet along to their new family.

Our Mission

Our mission: To reduce the number of unwanted litters in South Monterey County by providing access to free or low-cost spay/neuter services for dogs and domestic and feral cats. We also work with our rescue neighborhood partners to help animals in need of new homes.
