Ivan is a sweet‑talking chatterbox who loves sharing his thoughts as he follows you around, ready for snuggles at any moment. This boy is a huge love, happiest when he’s being carried like the pampered sweetheart he is, his gigantic purr motor rumbling the whole time. His extra‑soft, silky fur makes every cuddle irresistible. Endlessly curious, he’ll pop up into an adorable bunny stand to inspect anything new. Gentle and nurturing with other cats yet perfectly content on his own, Ivan is fully vetted, fixed, and ready to bring warmth and affection into a lucky home. Born Sept. 2025

Weatherford Whiskers's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters are invited to come in and see the cats during open office hours. Browse the rooms and see what we have and what you think will fit you and your family. Adoption forms are online. Once filled out and sent in they are then reviewed by a committee. If approved, then the entire family is asked to come see the cat(s) that they are wanting to adopt so that the staff can observe that the entire family is committed to this adoption. Then formal paperwork is signed and the process is complete. Can take up to 2 weeks for this process to occur.

Our Mission

Weatherford Whiskers is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue group. Our cage free facility has 5 rooms of free roaming cats with access to a catio for safe outdoor enrichment in 3 of the rooms. We rescue high risk cats and kittens from our local shelters. Once rescued, we place them in experienced foster homes...
