Isis's Story

Hi, I'm Isis, a sleek and beautiful 5-year-old black kitty with a sweet nature and a heart ready to blossom. I came to HART with my friend Onyx after we were rescued from a hoarding situation by Animal Services. Life has changed a lot for me, and now I'm ready for a fresh start where I can receive the individualized attention, patience, and love I deserve.

I'm also FIV-positive, but that doesn't stop me from living a happy, fulfilling life! FIV-positive cats can live long, happy lives, and I can safely share a home with peaceful, cat-friendly FIV-negative cats. FIV is spread primarily through deep bite wounds--not through everyday activities like grooming, cuddling, or sharing food and litter boxes. I'm hoping for a forever home where I can feel safe, get to know my people at my own pace, and discover just how wonderful life can be.
