Isabel's Story
ISABEL is a female-spayed, short hair brown tabby senior cat with white chin, born about 2017. The owner of Isabel (& Conrad, & Jeremiah) died, & his daughter was unable to keep them. YAPS accepted her (and the other two cats) mid-September 2025. No veterinary records are available. The prior owner's daughter states Isabel was very shy, but there was limited human contact with the cats. We find her to be stressed/insecure from the loss of her prior home, so she does not come to you for affection from her resting place. She appreciates a calm, gentle approach, & may accept being petted in her resting place. Currently she prefers not to be held. If adopted into a home, initially she should be placed in a "safe room" to gradually adjust to her new surroundings.
