Isabel's Story

Isabel - Female DOB 5/15/2024 Domestic Short Hair - Brown Tabby

In typical cat form, Isabel has a very “I’ll join you when I’m ready” energy to her. She likes to be nearby, watching what’s going on, taking her time before deciding how involved she wants to be. It took a bit for her to decide that hands were safe, but now she’ll come over for affection and settle in next to whoever’s in the room as long as the vibe is calm. She likes to lick your fingers and put her scent on you before allowing you to pet her. She can show her pleasure with a little love bite occasionally so a cat-savvy person would be best for her.

She’s not clingy and not demanding... more like a quiet roommate who enjoys company but doesn’t need to be the center of it. We’ve seen her do really well with other gentle cats, including Gigi and Jenny. Isabel would be happy being your one and only getting all your attention, but she would also be ok with a calm, mellow kitty with a slow introduction.

Isabel isn’t a great match for chaotic environments. She would do best in a home with no dogs and no children.

Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.
