Iris's Story

Iris's story is common. "Moving. Can't take her."<br/><br/>We are still getting to know Iris but we discovered some important things about her - she is very lovable and enjoys being cuddled in a human's arms. She's just a youngster herself, but as revealed on an ultrasound, was pregnant with two kittens. She gave birth on February 27, 2022, to a little male and a little female, both gray like their mom. Because she can't be vaccinated for a little while yet, she stays with her kittens in a large kennel in her multi-cat foster home. But she's doing very well and her foster family makes sure she has lots of attention and exercise. Like any kitten, she has a very strong play-drive but her kitten-hood will take a pause while she mothers her own babies. She is a very good mom. We like our kittens to stay with their moms until they are eleven or twelve weeks of age.
