She came into our care in May 2025, after being trapped at the Arnprior Villa as a very shy and scared girl.<br/><br/>She's gone from the girl who would hide in the rafters and swat you to a girl now looking for pets; she even lets some of her visitors hold her. Her progress is amazing and in the right home we know she’ll truly blossom<br/><br/>She's also quite the playful girl, so would do best in a home that is happy to play with her with wands toys and perhaps a playful companion.<br/><br/>Iris is good with other cats as well as older children who will respect her space as she acclimates.

Arnprior Stray Cat Division Rescue's Adoption Policy
1. Fill out an adoption application 2. The application is processed by a volunteer, references are contacted and a phone interview is conducted during a mutually convenient time. If the application does not meet the cats needs, we do not proceed with it. 3. If the application looks good and the references are check out, we set up a call or meeting between the foster and adopter. 4. If the meeting goes well and the adoption is approved, the adopter will fill out our adoption agreement. 5. Contract & payment are taken, pick up date for the cat is arranged and all documents provided. *You will only be contacted if your application is approved*
