Inky's Story

Meet Inky, a sweet and tiny senior kitty with a shiny black coat and a love for lap-time and brushing sessions. At 15 years old, Inky has experienced a lot of love but is now searching for a second chance at a forever home. She may be a bit bold with more submissive cats, and while she hasn't been tested with dogs yet, she shines as a charming companion for the right person.

Inky's journey is bittersweet. She is one of 14 cats who tragically lost their beloved owner, known affectionately as "Coach," in July. Coach, a kind-hearted man celebrated across Jefferson County and beyond, dedicated his life to rescuing dozens of cats, lovingly calling them his "children." Inky and her siblings, including her brothers Rudy and Bouncer, were rescued as kittens by Coach and raised with love and care. Inky is a little shy at first, but once she knows you're there, she'll greet you with loud, affectionate meows, asking for attention. Despite her age, this tiny girl still has plenty of spunk and energy to brighten your days. Adopt two of Coach's cats together and pay only one adoption fee! Help fulfill Coach's legacy and give Inky a loving home she can call her own—she's ready to be your loyal companion for life.

All cats adopted through To The ResQ have been examined by a vet, are spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped with free transfer registration, combo-tested, and dewormed. If you have any questions about Inky, feel free to reach out to us at ttr.adopt@gmail.com.
