Ink (bonded with Heba)'s Story

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

Ink and Heba are an adorable bonded pair of black kittens looking for a forever home where they can grow, play, and be loved together.

Ink is a charming little boy who is equal parts energy and affection. From the moment he arrived at his foster home, he made it his mission to greet every human face-to-face—literally! Ink loves to climb up as close as possible to shower people with kisses. He’s a nonstop purr machine during cuddle time, and once he’s gotten his fill of love, he’s off to play. His favorites are wand toys and the laser pointer. Ink doesn’t bother much with meowing; instead, he communicates through sweet chirps, enthusiastic purring, and plenty of kisses.

Heba, his sister, is a gentle soul with a quieter confidence. She likes to hang back at first, usually letting Ink do the initial greetings, but don’t let her shyness fool you. Once you start petting her, she melts into a purring bundle of happiness and will happily keep coming back for more. Heba is obsessed with the laser pointer and absolutely lives for chin scratches—those are the fastest way to win her heart.

Together, Ink and Heba balance each other perfectly: one bold and outgoing, the other sweet and softly affectionate. They would thrive in a loving home that can appreciate their different personalities and give them plenty of playtime, cuddles, and patience as they settle in

Would you like to make Ink and Heba a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
