Indigo's Story

Indigo is very skittish but showing steady progress in learning to trust. She's comfortable being in the same room with people and now chooses to come around rather than hide, though she will still bolt if you reach to touch her. Indigo clearly wants to be social - when we were able to touch her once she immediately started purring and making biscuits, showing she has a sweet, affectionate side once she feels safe. Best matched with a patient, calm home that can offer slow, gentle introductions, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement; older children or experienced adopters preferred

Fill Out an Application Once you’ve fallen in love, you’ll fill out a short adoption application. This helps us learn more about your home, lifestyle, and what kind of kitty would thrive with you. Please note filling out an application does not guarantee a cat. It is not about when you fill out the application its about where the cat will thrive the best. 3. Chat With Our Team After we receive your application, someone from our team will reach out for a quick conversation. We’re happy to answer any questions and make sure it’s a great match—for you and the cat. 4. Finalize the Adoption If it’s a good fit, we’ll arrange for you to take your new best friend home! All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for love. 5. Ongoing Support Adopting from Kittyland means joining a community. We’re here to support you before, during, and after adoption to ensure a smooth transition and happy life for your new companion. We also take back our cats if there is ever a problem.
