I'm Imara!<br/><br/>Meaning strong and having a resilient spirt, it is a fitting name that was given to me by staff; after I arrived at FCAC as an injured stray.<br/><br/>I had two, large open gash wounds on my front leg. The girls here at FCAC got me all cleaned up and have been caring for the wounds twice a day for weeks! It was painful at times, but I was brave and remained tolerant and gentle of their care. They assured me each time and promised I would heal soon and be on my way to find my new forever family!! <br/><br/>Well that day has come and here I am!! Ready to take on the world with you!<br/><br/>I may have some leftover scarring and my hair isn't all grown back in yet to cover the memory of where those painful wounds were, but I know I can overcome anything with a bit of help!!<br/><br/>I am a social and friendly girl! I should be great with kids and other cats. I will need proper introductions to dogs, if any are in my new home.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Spayed, mircochipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. If he or she is a match - they can go home with you on the same day! Remember to bring a cat carrier! If you don't have one, we have cardboard carriers available to purchase for an additional $5.
