Ilka's Story

We were trapped when we were 2 months in downtown Conway. Our foster mom noticed that our digestive tracts weren't quite right. Finally, her veterinarian discovered we had Cryptosporidium felis. That is a bacterial infection in our little bellies. We were in foster care from September 2025 until right after Christmas. We ae better now. We are a bonded pair of sisters. We love to play, sleep and eat together. We are almost twins.

Kind Keeper's Adoption Policy

All adoptable animals are shown by appointment only. If you see an animal you are interested in, please call us at 843-427-4388 to make an appointment. You must meet the animal before adopting. If you already have another dog, we require a meet and greet between our dog and yours. Applications can be filled out at kindkeeper.org or in person during your appointment time. You must be at least 23 years old to adopt. Our dog adoption fee is $325 and our cat adoption fee is $125. We are located at 1500 LD Drive in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
