Iggy's Story

Iggy and his brother Yoshi are firmly bonded and make the perfect kitty pair. Their friendship is so adorable and strong that they need to be adopted together.

Your future playmate and shadow – Iggy is a sleek, smoky gray, young cat with fur as soft as velvet and a tiny majestic white star on his chest. Iggy is the sweetest guy and loves to hang out with his humans on the off chance that play is on the table! He will play all day if you have the time and energy. Iggy is an accomplished hunter and uses his amazing athleticism to leap in the air and catch his toy prey, dragging it off to his lair under the dining table. When playtime is over Iggy will sit near his human and snooze away until it’s time to play again. Iggy is very smart and understands a lot of what is said to him. Iggy is also a collector and loves to “borrow” Lego, charms, hair clips and other nik-naks to store safely in his lair!

Iggy is a little cautious at first around new people, but once he gets to know you he will show you how much he loves pets and scratches, rubbing against your hand with his cheek and purring in his deep baritone! Iggy will stand up on your lap to lick meat tube treats and will gently take a crunchy treat from your hand. In the evening he loves to curl up right next to his humans on the couch and watch TV on soft blankets or survey his kingdom from his hammock at the top of the cat tower.

The boys would do best in a calm, predictable home with cat savvy adopters who have the time and patience to build a trusting relationship with them. Iggy’s estimated date of birth is mid-April, 2024.
