Ichigo's Story

Ichigo was born July 2025. He is now a full fledged do my best to get into as much trouble as possible teenager.

When he was a tyke he and his brothers learned to unroll a full roll of toilet paper no matter which direction it was installed. These days he isn't as interested in the toilet paper so it only gets unrolled on occasion and even then only a few feet of it before he finds some other distraction.

Like all juvenile kittens he loves to jump on surfaces and see what little 'toys' he can swat to the ground to play with. If his foster mother tries to reprimand him, he will happily grab such toy and run away with it hiding it somewhere which can take some time or days to locate.

Ichigo is a balance of cuddle and independence. When he wants to cuddle he can be a bit insistent and then go into full cuddle mode, kneading and licking to his hearts content. When he is feeling independant he will just lay out on the bed or hammock overseeing the daily motions of the world around him. When he and his brother are closed in their room for the two feeding times of the day, he is the one who will be lounging in the hammock at the window when the door is finally opened to let them back out and he will casually exit the hammock at his own time to leave the room.

Ichigo is a wonderful kitten, easy to handle and has been open to introducing himself to guests after a few seconds of examination to make sure they are friendly.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
