Hydra's Story
Hydra is one of our constellation cats. He is very sweet and affectionate. He will also let you know when he wants picked up and held. Hydra was born with swimmer's syndrome, but that has not affected his mobility much. Hydra is able to walk, run, climb, and play with no issues. He does have a noticeable limp and some occasional discomfort around his hips (but does enjoy some light massage when done slowly and gently). The vet we consulted with says he can live a long, healthy, and happy life with some joint supplements and weight management.

Hydra loves to play with any and all toys. He is extremely smart and figures out food enrichment toys quickly. Hydra is very curious and open to becoming friends with other cats that enter the house. He is a wonderful foster uncle to all the foster kittens. He is gentle with them, grooms them, plays with them, and snuggles with them. Additionally, Hydra likes to snuggle up to and be near his human foster mom. He makes a great shadow cat that isn't intrusive or bothersome.

He is fixed, combo and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and has combo tested negative. Would you love to have him stay with you furever? If so, please fill out an application here: https://www.appalachianpeacepaws.org/adopt
