Hunter is sweet gentle giant and very affectionate <br/><br/>He loves to be pet. He is just a little shy for 2 minutes, he was part of the big Mallorytown colony of 30 cats . <br/><br/>He was TNRd in June 2025 back the horse barn and the owner noticed him and his sister Spring had become really social and wanted to come inside, they would get belly rubs, neck rubs and would hang around the kitchen window wanting to come inside.<br/>So I decided to bring him back to Ottawa in foster care and he is just a sweet gentle boy. He starts purring the minute you pet him, he lifts his bum for more, and is very talkative*****.....Very food motivated, talker and just so affectionate. He would do good with another gentle cat that loves cats or alone.<br/><br/>Hunter, would need a few days to 1 week or so to adjust and figure the routine, 1 week in foster care and already comfortable out and about..., and would definitely bloom into a lap cat. <br/>I can lift him quickly, and move him, he is not certain, but no agression.<br/>Definitely someone who understands colony cats he will not take much time to be yr sidekick as he is now.<br/>He comes when called, and greets you with talk<br/><br/>All vetted 275$<br/>Exam wellness <br/>Neutered <br/>FCRV vaccines <br/>Rabies vaccine <br/>Dewormed and <br/>microchiped <br/><br/>All litter trained<br/>Other cats , yes<br/>Dog, no<br/>Kids over 12+<br/><br/>Please NOTE that not all cats are tested for FIV/Felv nor can FIP (feline infectious periodontal) be detected, we will share any medical information gathered during the wellness health check during our observation revealed during their time in care.<br/>But it is important to know that some illnesses can have an incubation of 10 to 14 days, which means that a Cat can leave in good health but get sick a few days post adoption. Seniors, Kittens and Shy Cats Rescue's Adoption Policy
They are asked to fill out the adopters request form, then if approved a "Meet and Greet" is scheduled with the foster or myself if cat is with me. Then finally a virtual home tour of their home to finalize and approve the adopter. I rely on my fosters in their opinion if a good match for the cat/kitten.
