Hunter's Story
COURTESY POST – Hunter – Available for Adoption

Hunter only has 8 lives left. He turned up on a good Samaritan’s doorstep, scrawny, exhausted, and bleeding. He had been attacked. He was brought to the vet, and it was discovered he had a few diseases, and without intervention, he would certainly not have made it. Because he had a wound of unknown origin the recommended quarantine was completed, he received his vaccines, and a treatment for toxoplasmosis.

He's incredibly affectionate and loving. He wants love and scratches 24/7. He's a sweet boy, and his rescuer would keep him, but the integration with her senior dogs is not going well. He needs a home where he is the only pet, but where love abounds.

Hunter is approximately 4-5 years old, neutered, up-to-date on all his shots, negative for FeLV (first test came up positive; but then negative a few months later), yet positive for FIV. If you are interested in meeting him, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

What is FIV?
