Hulk's Story

Hulk may have an intimidating name but its only to scare off dogs. He's actually a sweet loving boy who just wants a cozy bed to lay in, head pets, and people praising him for what a good boy he is. The shelter is new and he's still learning to build trust with staff but he's coming around with every deliciously smelly wet food or yummy crunchy treat. A few sprinkles of catnip to take the edge off of being a former stray cat is also helping.

Our dedicated staff and volunteers will help you find the perfect match. Browse the animals online first, or just stop in during our shelter hours. Your first step to adopting a pet is to complete an adoption questionnaire available at the shelter. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW: You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt without a parent or guardian. Bring a form of identification with current address, such as a driver’s license. If renting property or living with a parent, you will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. We will contact the homeowner for verification. Once a staff member has reviewed your adopter questionnaire, you can spend some time with the animals. Pets are an important part of the family, so if at all possible, all family members should be part of the process. If you are looking to add an additional dog, we ask you to bring your dog to the shelter to meet the new canine companion. This may requ
