Hugo

Hugo is a loving and easy-going kitty who likes everyone and enjoys belly rubs. He’s a cuddler, and will be sometimes in your lap or sometimes beside it, and starts purring the second you start petting him. He also likes to cuddle against his person in bed at night.<br/><br/>Hugo was raised in foster care in a multi-cat household, so he had a lot of moms! He learned to adapt to different preferences and personalities. If they want to play with him, he’s ready to romp! If they want to calmly cuddle and mutually groom, he’s in! And if they just want to be left alone, he respects that, too.<br/><br/>Hugo also grew up with two young, large hounds, so he’s totally comfortable living with dogs, and even being nosed by them in their goofy affection. But he hides if they bark loudly, being a naturally cautious fellow. (Because of that, we’d expect Hugo to begin in hiding, with a new family, slowing coming out as he felt safe.)<br/><br/>At just 8 months old, Hugo really enjoys his playtime, whether that’s by himself with toys, with another cat (he’ll meow to try to get them to play), or with his person. He especially likes to chase ribbon toys and to play fetch with spring toys!<br/><br/>And if you like big cats, well, we suspect he's going to be a big guy.
