Hugo's Story

Introducing our sweetheart boy HUGO! This handsome, gentleman kitty has a midnight black coat with a few wisps of pure white fur strands at the center of his chest. Our vet staff estimates HUGO to be approximately between five and six years old.

HUGO was humanely trapped and brought to our cat center by a Good Samaritan who noticed this friendly stray was in need of some help. Upon arrival, it was apparent HUGO had lived a tough life in his past. HUGO most notably has scarring on the right side of his face which was most likely caused by an old trauma or injury. One of his front paws had a minor abrasion and he also had an abscess and case of cellulitis to his right shoulder. HUGO had multiple scratches on his face which we often see and is typical from males fending for themselves trying to survive the street life on their own. Our vet staff tended to HUGO's medical needs, and all the volunteers gave him lots of TLC. Everyone who meets charming HUGO has fallen under his captivating spell! HUGO is a special guy to say the least. He has the sweetest face and the personality to match. Do not let all the old battle wounds fool you...this brave boy is a lovebug at heart. HUGO adores being pet and receiving grooming sessions with a brush. HUGO is calm, quiet, well-mannered and has a gentle demeanor about him. HUGO is FIV positive which is no biggie as long as he lives the indoor-only life from now on, maintains a quality diet, and sees a vet for annual checkups. HUGO is so friendly, pleasant, and such a softie...all he wants to do is show you love and be loved. HUGO enjoys window watching, cat napping, and all the affection and attention you have to give. This resilient guy is ready to live his best life and he deserves the world...maybe it's you who make his dream a reality!

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV tested negative, FIV tested POSITIVE, Flea preventative applied and Microchipped.

If you would like to meet HUGO, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
