HOWIE's Story
Hi, I'm Howie. I really love people, so much so, that I am mostly an "in your face" cat, but I'm learning to become more independent. I ask to be petted at every chance and love to make biscuits, knead bread, mash potatoes, or whatever you call it, and I do a lot of that. I am well-mannered, calm and quiet, always aiming to please.

My sister Heidi and I came to the shelter from nowhere one day, and we were so small and so hungry, that we walked right through the chain link fence towards the food. We were kind of banged up from being on our own for a while, but healthy. We feel very grateful that we survived that escapade.

Now we are allowed to go outside in a protected area, and we run and play and chase things, my sister more than me, as I mostly prefer the great indoors. Although we love each other dearly, we are not that bonded anymore so I could be adopted by myself, and would easily adapt to about any home, just as long as I receive lots of gentle love and attention.

Thank you for learning about me, and please check out my good friends on the Country Cats site!
