Howard's Story
This little sweetheart is about 8 weeks old and already has the softest buff-orange coat you’ve ever seen

. Howard is a total lovebug who lives to purr and can’t wait to be someone’s new best friend!

Howard did test positive for a couple of fecal parasites. These can transmit to other pets and in rare cases, in humans through oral ingestion (eating) the infected feces. He has had treatment, but it is too early to recheck his stool to see if the parasites are gone. We recommend to his new owner to keep his litter box clean and his feet clean of feces to prevent transfer.

He is neutered, microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV/heartworm tested and negative for all.

The $125.00 adoption fee (
payable by cash or check only
) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV testing.

Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Cats for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
