Howard's Story

Estimated Birthday: 4/21/2010

Sweet Howard, with his soulful eyes and cute white mittens, has quite the story to tell! Originally adopted from our organization 13 years ago, he recently found himself in need of a second chance. Though we don’t know much about his journey, it’s clear he’s been on his own for a while — he’s a little underweight at 5 lbs and is getting the care he needs to bounce back.

Howard has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and possibly IBD, so he’s on special food and medication to help him feel his best. Despite his senior status at approximately 13 to 15 years old, he’s still a curious little guy who enjoys stirring up a bit of trouble now and then!

Here’s what you should know about this distinguished tabby:
Lap Lover & Sunbather: He adores cuddling, soaking up the sunshine, and spending time with his humans.

Polite to Other Pets: He’s indifferent to cats and dogs, though he prefers not to play. A gentle hiss is his way of saying, “I’ll pass, thanks!”

Food Enthusiast: His hyperthyroidism makes him food-motivated, which means he might help himself to a snack if it’s left unattended!

Well Mannered: He’s mostly litter-trained but has had a few accidents. His medication should help improve this over time.

A Heartwarming Companion: He warmed up instantly to his foster parents, showing them just how loving and affectionate he is! He hasn’t been around kids but there are no signs there’d be any issues.

Howard is a laid-back gentleman who’s simply looking for a warm home, some good food, and plenty of love. If you’re looking for a sweet senior cat to brighten your days, Howard might be the perfect match!

If interested in adopting please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org to complete an adoption application. Adoption applications are accepted and reviewed from the Charlotte and the surrounding areas only.

Our cat adoption recovery fee is $165 this includes:
Spay/Neuter, Microchip, FELV testing, and Vaccines up to the time of adoption.
