Howard's Story

Date of Birth: 1/3/20

Howard showed up at a cat colony with a bad rear leg. He was neutered and checked out by our vet who told us his leg needed amputation. He must have been injured when he was pretty young and the break healed badly so he was not able to straighten his leg out, so at the very least, he was pretty uncomfortable. After his leg was amputated, Howard healed in ten days and now gets around really well. He can jump onto the cat trees and use the litter box. He is the most cuddly, loving cat and gets along with other cats. He is FIV positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which just means he has a compromised immune system. Please read about FIV here: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv
He is a comfort to one of my kitten fosters.
If you want a cuddly lap cat, Howard would be a loving addition to your fur family.

If you are interested in adopting from Cat Posse, please visit our website, www.catposse.org and fill out the application on the cats page. You can also contact Sharon at sebastian_sophie@yahoo.com to have an application either e-mailed or faxed to you.
