Houdini's Story

Houdini has made amazing progress and will lay beside you. He loves nose rubs and giving your hand head butts. We were going to put him in a shop or barn but he is now beyond that. We knew he had a sweet side to him so decided to keep working with him. We would not recommend in home with young children at this time as was never tested around them. If handled roughly he may become reactive. We are upfront as possible when doing our adoptions. Reason being we want them in the best matched environments as possible. He is no longer reactive to other cats but doesn't like them in his space. He will go to his spot if told. He now avoids confrontation but really think he was trying to be the referee not the instigator. It really showed when a kitten was Houdini would do really well in a calm household. Not tested with dogs or small kids.
We would describe Houdini as a soldier in disguise.

Houdini was brought into the WHS with an embedded collar approx 5 yrs ago. They treated his wounds was released as a TNR. Houdini never grew fur back around his neck and was brought into a home by someone who decided to care for him. He was rehomed to someone else 2yrs later then turned over to us.
