Houdini's Story

Houdini was found outside by wandering up to a human completely emaciated and asking for help. Within minutes of entering the rescue, he was ready to be a lap cat. He came right out of the carrier screaming for food and attention. Since being rescued, he has achieved a healthy weight and has been happy and healthy ever since! He is very playful, often having the zoomies or wrestling with the other cats in the rescue or the resident dog. Despite being fed well, Houdini still enjoys screaming for his wet food during feed time. He earned his name by vanishing into the tiniest spaces to take a nap and sending his rescuers into a panic to find him, just to see he was resting peacefully! He is a complete sweetheart, he loves attention from humans and cats alike. He does not shy away from strangers and is happy to greet anyone who stops by. He currently lives with other cats and a dog. Houdini can be an only pet, but he would also love to have a playmate! He is litter trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
