Horace's Story
Horace, born on 3/6/2020, is an extremely handsome, deep gray/blue boy with sultry green eyes, luscious fur, and a strong personality. He is confident, curious, and very affectionate once he trusts you. He can be a bit sensitive to his environment so needs time to decompress in a new setting before he will show you his true personality. Horace is a friend to most but if someone rubs him the wrong way, he is known to hold a grudge-be that toward a human or another cat. He does love kittens and is a great mentor for a young whipper snapper trying to find his or her place in the world. But if a cat bullies him even once, he has no qualms sticking up for himself and then continuing to exert dominance. So, Horace needs a home with a kitten or very mellow, laid-back, cats who could care less when he’s in a mood. Horace loves a cat tree and is quite playful. He must be kept away from any kind of toy that can be chewed apart and swallowed because he has a notorious history of ingesting string, floss, and tails or ropes from certain toys-to the point he had to have an exploratory surgery to remove the foreign bodies he ingested. Horace may sound like a lot but if you keep him safe and happy, he will reward you with such a strong, loving bond.
