Hopscotch's Story

Meet Hopscotch!
This young boy earned his name by hanging out on playground in Brooklyn for months, after his owners abandoned him. He was finally rescued after a kind neighbor noticed him limping and contacted our rescue.

He’s now all healed up, fully-vetted and ready for his forever home!

Despite what he went through, Hopscotch is incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves to snuggle—if you’re looking for a lap cat, he’s your guy!

He’s also playful and curious, and will happily entertain himself with any toy you give him, or spend the day lounging on the windowsill, watching birds go by.

He’s an indoor-only cat and will thrive in a safe, loving environment. He loves to be around people,, and is even confident with strangers. We think he would also get along well with another cat as long as they meet gradually (with slow introductions) and is gentle with small children. We aren’t sure how he feels about dogs yet.

This sweet little guy has truly stolen our hearts and we know he’ll do the same for you.
