Hopscotch's Story

Meet Hopscotch!

Hopscotch was a feral kitty that was found at a local gas station with an obvious injury to her paw. We worked on trapping her and it took us days to successfully do so.

Once trapped, we immediately took her to a clinic to have her wound assessed. Thankfully, amputation wasn’t needed and the doctor went in and repaired her paw. She sadly lost the majority of her paw and all of her nails due to how severe it was. Now, she just has a funny looking paw which makes her unique.

Because she was feral, it took us months to get her used to human interaction. Now, she enjoys pets and will even begin to purr. She isn’t a huge fan of being picked up yet though.

Hopscotch is now ready to find her Furrever family that’ll understand her needs and will go slow with her. She has been fully vetted, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If interested, you can go to our website at www.furreveraftercats.org/adoptions to fill out an adoption application.
