Hopscotch's Story

Hopscotch got her name for good reason. Found on a playground, she’s been chasing sunshine and playtime ever since. What began as a shy little kitten has turned into a spirited, affectionate cat who loves to hop into your lap, purr like a motorboat, and politely insist on just one more round of pets.

She’s quick, curious, and always up for a game. Wand toys, tunnels, or a dramatic dive under the covers are her specialties. When the fun winds down, she stretches out for a nap in a sunbeam or curls up in the window to watch the world go by.

Hopscotch gets along well with other cats and has been sweet and gentle with the young children in her foster home. She enjoys company but also appreciates time to do her own thing.

From her playground beginnings to her confident, loving personality today, Hopscotch is the kind of cat who brings a little bit of childhood wonder back into your home.

Hopscotch will need to be adopted into a home with another appropriately aged cat or dog. She is currently being fostered with her sister, Miss Mary Mack. They can be adopted together or separately.

If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at https://www.greenpointcats.org/adoption-application
