Hope's Story

I'm a shy 7 yr old spayed female who was surrendered along with my sister. Our owner gave us up since she moved into a nursing home. I'm not sure what that means so I was really confused and scared. Luckily, I am very bonded to my sister, Joy. So, I've been able to rely on her and she's helped take care of me. I'm much shyer than she is and it took quite a while for me to get used to this new environment. Now, I really like the humans here and I run right up to chat as soon as someone looks my way. My favorite thing is to sunbathe in window. I just love watching what's going on outside. I get along fine with the other kitties but I don't really care if they're around. Except for my sister of course. I can't bear the thought of being separated from Joy, so we must find a home together. I've never been around dogs, but it might not be the best idea since I get spooked easily. Quiet kids who are respectful would be ok though. I would absolutely love to find a home with a lap that needs warming! I just want to feel safe and loved for the rest of my life, right beside my sister.

My bonded sister is Joy.
