Hope's Story

Hope has been through a lot in her short lifetime… she’s experienced the cruelty of humans as well as their love.
She showed up at an apartment complex in the Fall with injuries most definitely from being thrown from a moving vehicle. Luckily for her, the residents there keep a sharp eye out for newcomers and contacted me immediately. It took a while for us to earn her trust, but once she gave in, she melted. I took her to our vet and he was absolutely determined to help.
She’s been at the veterinary hospital off and on for the last 3.5 months and has endured 4 reconstructive surgeries, a diet of soup, and weeks of surgical cones.
She is so full of personality!
Shes sweet!
She’s bossy!
She’s demanding!
And, she’s thankful. ??
She really enjoys riding on my shoulder at the clinic as I go about my tasks … making sure to let me know if something isn’t done to her specifications. ?
Hope deserves the absolute BEST life full of LOVE and stability and it’s my goal to make sure she gets it. She also stipulates the need for a bowl always full of pate.
If you believe you are the human to spoil her the rest of her life, please fill out an application.
Hope is:
*1 1/2 - 2 years old
*Spayed
*FIV/FeLV Negative
*FVRCP Vaccinated
*Litter box trained
*Worm treated
*Flea treated
Her adoption fee is $150 and includes a 35# pail of Here Kitty litter and a $25 gift certificate both provided by Petland of Chillicothe.
