Hope's Story

Meet Hope — the most perfect cat you’ll ever meet!

It’s almost hard to believe she was fending for herself out on the street since she’s adapted so well to the good life of an indoor cat.

When she was found outside an auto shop, the workers said they had no idea how many litters of kittens she already had but she just had babies the day prior. Unfortunately, 3 didn’t make it but she ran off with 1 survivor. So, we trapped mom and got baby!

Hope was grateful from the very start. She lived in a playpen for the first 3 weeks of indoor life to take care of her baby. She was immediately accepting of pets, love and tons of wet food. Only being a year and a half, she did everything a mother was supposed to do for one so young.

She ran out of milk on week 3 so we were quick to get her spayed and up to date on shots so she could finally enjoy her foster home. And boy, did she!

She showed her true colors — asking for pets, playing with toys, rolling on her back for belly rubs and she even showed off her chirping since she’s quite chatty!

Hope has stayed grateful of her indoor experience. She stays out of trouble, has never scratched at furniture, uses the litter box perfectly and has even learned where her foster keeps dry food to politely ask for more. She keeps polished by constantly grooming herself to perfection.

Hope loves to play and she’s happy to play with other kitties or just by herself with a jingle ball toy. You can often find her carrying a plush toy around in her mouth and chirping about how she caught it.

She’s extremely, extremely affectionate. She’s constantly purring. She’s always up for a snuggle on your lap. If you’re lounging around, she’ll lounge around with you. She’ll follow you around the kitchen in hopes you might fill her bowl too. She’s just looking for her ride or die person!

Hope is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is FIV/FeLV negative

*To apply for Hope, please visit our website to view our adoption guidelines and fill out our application at catcallsrescue.org/adopt *

Catcalls Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please thoroughly read the following information about adopting a Catcalls Rescue cat/kitten before applying. Must be 21+ to apply. Fill out the form thoroughly. The more information you provide, the better! Incomplete forms will not be considered. Please do not apply on a whim! Out of consideration for the time and energy of our volunteers, we ask that you apply only when certain that you are ready and able to adopt. We cannot hold cats/kittens for adoption. Kittens do best when they have a friend! Kittens must be adopted in pairs or to homes with existing pets. All current pets in applicants’ homes must be spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines. Cats in the home must be FIV/FeLV tested. Safety is a priority at Catcalls Rescue, so a virtual or in-person home check will be completed prior to adoption to make sure your furry friend will be safe and comfortable in their new environment! All Catcalls Rescue cats and kittens come with health records and are dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, and microchipped. Please note that due to a high volume of applications, you may not receive a response. We will reach out to applicants that are best suited for each feline within one week of receiving their application. **Emails asking us if we have received apps only slows up the process for everyone. We can't respond to those any faster than we can respond to a good application! Please keep that in mind! If you are the best fit for our kitties, you will absolutely hear from us! Thank you!**
