Hope's Story
It’s hard to believe that Hope was once part of an abandoned colony on the South Shore, where several young adult cats had clearly been left behind and began having litter after litter. Despite her difficult start and the responsibility of raising three kittens on her own, Hope never lost her gentle, trusting nature.

Now safe and cozy with her amazing foster family in the West Island, she’s enjoying the comfort of indoor life — soft beds, steady meals, and love she doesn’t have to fight for. Hope is incredibly tame, affectionate, and smart, and she adapts quickly to new routines. She purrs when spoken to, seeks out attention, and is happiest close to her humans or cuddling with her kittens.

At around two years old, Hope has the perfect balance of calm and affection. She’s grateful, loving, and would make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a sweet, loyal companion.

Hope will come fully vetted — including deworming, defleaing, vaccines, FIV/FeLV testing, and sterilization — all included in her $300 adoption fee.

Rescue origin: South Shore abandoned colony
Currently in foster care: West Island
Contact: Susan Mackasey for more information or to arrange a meet-and-greet.
