Hoover will be timid at first, and he needs a home where he will have time to come around on his terms and a home that has experience with cats. Once he knows you, he likes attention and to be petted. He is still nervous of hands coming quickly to his face and anything too abrupt. He used to avoid human contact, so he has come a long way. If he knows you, he purrs as soon as you approach him, so he wants to be someone's buddy!
