Honey & Hero (bonded pair)'s Story

Honey (female, black and white) & Hero (male, black) are a 5-month-old brother and sister pair who had a very rocky start to life. At just 2.5 months old, these babies were skinny, filthy stray kittens living on the streets. Honey was hit by a car and lay injured in the street. Her tiny brave brother, emaciated and sick, stood guard over his sister's body until help arrived.

Both kittens were taken to the county shelter, but were put on the euthanasia list for the end of the day. Friends of Bear pulled them from the shelter in the nick of time and got Honey to a hospital for her injuries. In the last 3 months, Honey has made a full recovery from her injuries and both kittens are absolutely thriving. Now, all they ask for is a loving forever home to call their own.

Honey is a quiet, chonky little lady with a calm and loving spirit. She loves to take naps in a cozy bed and she gives the best headbutts! Honey would love nothing more than to snuggle with you and show off her quiet, sweet purrs.

Hero is the more confident kitty who wants to flop onto your lap and take all your attention. He makes great biscuits and has a loud purr. He's a sweet little boy who loves his sister a whole lot and gives her a lot of confidence.

Honey & Hero are now 6 months old and very ready to bring lots of joy and love into your home. They are fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

If interested in adopting this once-in-a-lifetime pair of sweeties, please reach out to us directly: friendsofbearcatrescue.org/contact

Discounted bonded pair adoption fee of $150 (total) applies.
